On Day 1, we begin early in the morning with pickup directly from your hotel or accommodation in Athens and drive toward Meteora, following a comfortable and scenic route through mainland Greece.

Upon arrival, you will experience one of the most spectacular landscapes in Greece. Meteora, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is famous for its impressive rock formations rising dramatically from the ground, topped by historic monasteries.

You will visit selected Meteora monasteries, explore their unique architecture, and enjoy panoramic views over the entire area. We also pass through the town of Kalambaka, located at the foot of the rocks, completing the experience of this remarkable destination.

After the visit, we continue our journey toward Ioannina, where overnight stay will take place.

On Day 2, we explore Ioannina, one of the most atmospheric cities in Greece, known for its history, culture and beautiful lakeside setting.

We begin with a walk through the old town, followed by a visit to the Castle of Ioannina, one of the oldest continuously inhabited fortresses in Greece.

We then visit the Ali Pasha Museum, gaining insight into the historical period of Ali Pasha and the region’s past.

Our tour continues with a relaxing walk along the Lake Pamvotida (Ioannina Lake), offering scenic views and a peaceful atmosphere.

We also visit the island of Ioannina, located within the lake, a unique destination with traditional character and historical significance.

After the visit, we begin our return journey to Athens, completing a rich two-day experience.
