Here is an overview of the two-day tour to Delphi and Meteora, combining two of the most important historical and cultural destinations in Greece in a well-balanced and immersive experience.
On Day 1, we begin with pickup directly from your hotel or accommodation in Athens and drive toward Delphi, following a scenic route through mainland Greece and the slopes of Mount Parnassus.
Our first stop is at the Hosios Loukas Monastery, a remarkable 10th-century Byzantine monument and one of the most important examples of Byzantine architecture in Greece.
Our second stop is Delphi, once considered the center of the ancient world. There, you will have the opportunity to explore the Archaeological Site of Delphi, including the Sanctuary of Apollo and other important monuments. After the visit, you can enjoy lunch at a traditional restaurant on the mountainside, with panoramic views over the valley and the Corinthian Gulf.
Afterwards, we continue our journey toward Meteora, where overnight stay can be arranged in the area of Kalambaka, at the foot of the impressive rock formations.
On Day 2, we explore the unique landscape of Meteora, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its monasteries built on top of towering rock formations. You will visit selected monasteries, admire the architecture and enjoy breathtaking panoramic views over the entire area.
After the visit, we begin our return journey to Athens, completing a memorable two-day experience.
