Full-Day Tour to Ancient Sparta & Mystras

Here is an overview of the full-day tour to Ancient Sparta and Mystras.

We begin in the morning with pickup directly from your hotel or accommodation in Athens.

Our first stop will be at the famous Corinth Canal, where you will have the opportunity to enjoy the panoramic view from the Isthmus bridge and take photos of this impressive engineering landmark.

We then continue our journey to Ancient Sparta, one of the most legendary cities of ancient Greece, renowned for its history, discipline and military strength. During the visit, you will have the opportunity to explore the area and see the famous Statue of King Leonidas, one of the most iconic symbols of Spartan history.

After Ancient Sparta, the journey continues to Mystras, one of the most important Byzantine sites in Greece and one of the last great fortified cities of the Byzantine Empire. Built on the slopes of Mount Taygetus, Mystras was a major center of the late Byzantine world and is known for its medieval ruins, palaces, churches and unique atmosphere.

After the visit, we stop for lunch before beginning our return journey to Athens.
