Here is an overview of the full-day tour to Delphi, with three carefully selected stops that combine history, culture and beautiful mountain scenery.
We begin in the morning with pickup directly from your hotel or accommodation in Athens and drive toward Delphi, following a scenic route through mainland Greece and the slopes of Mount Parnassus.
Our first stop is at the Hosios Loukas Monastery, a remarkable 10th-century Byzantine monument and one of the most important examples of Byzantine architecture in Greece, known for its history and unique atmosphere.
Our second stop is Delphi, one of the most important archaeological sites of ancient Greece and once considered the center of the ancient world. There, you will have the opportunity to explore the Archaeological Site of Delphi, including the Sanctuary of Apollo and other important monuments of this historic area. After the visit, you can enjoy lunch at a traditional restaurant on the mountainside, offering beautiful panoramic views over the valley and the Corinthian Gulf.
Our third stop is the picturesque mountain village of Arachova, a popular destination known for its traditional character. Here you will have free time for a coffee and a relaxing walk through its charming streets.
